<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Al Harrington said there was no preparing the Warriors' playoff newcomers for the postseason atmosphere. They had to experience it for themselves.

Jason Richardson and Monta Ellis learned that the hard way.

"It's a big difference: the intensity, every possession counts, the loose balls. Guys are playing at a whole new level," Richardson said after his shaky 13-point, six-rebound debut. "I know I didn't have the game I wanted. ... I had a little too much nervous energy in me."

Richardson missed six of his seven three-point attempts, turned the ball over four times and had one of his poorer defensive outings of late. Ellis didn't fare much better, looking tentative in the first quarter and getting pulled for Matt Barnes less than five minutes in.

"It's going to be like it happened yesterday. We're not going to be able to get some shots, the crowd's not going to be your way," said Ellis, who finished with seven points, two rebounds and two turnovers in 24 minutes. </div>

This is a short comment, but I knew he was nervous. It's a different game, everyone knows that. Players don't show it, but they nervous. The games they play speak for themselves.
