    not that there is a good time to throw them, but it seems to me that he has an uncanny knack for throwing them at the exact moment we finally have some semblance of momentum on our side. Our defense gets a pick? he gives it right back.

    We REALLY need to get Gore the ball, and grind out a few first downs, before Martz, throws us out of the game. Martz's schemes are brilliant, but you cant just plug any 3rd string crappy journeyman qb in, unless his name is kurt warner.

    Well you have to play with what you got. Alex Smith turned out to be a bust, always getting injured and actually throwing about the same INT in the first two seasons.

    Its part of the learning process for a young QB.

    Its unfortunate. But hardly unexpected.
