in the off, the knicks will be over the cap, which's bad cuz they have two young players whoes contract runs out. jackie and trevor. do you guys think you can resign them? i mean, jackie is a great prospect and trevor is a great player. any thoughts?

I think we can. Ariza likes it here in New York and the fans have been treating him well this season. Butler pretty much has to stay because we were the ones that got him from the CBA after no team was interested in him. I'm sure extensions for these players can be worked out this summer especially depending on the pieces they can be surrounded with this summer. And btw, it's Trevor Ariza. [IMG]

but the knicks are over the cap. doesn't that mean that they can't resign any players unless are under it. i may be thinking football salary rules, i don't know. but can someone explain it to me?

Yeah, they can resign players they just can't give them any monster contracts. This is good because they're only rookies and they most likely won't demand anything outrageous untill the start making a bigger name for themselves.
