<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Backup corner Leslie Jackman and reserve defensive end Chenry Lewis will be transferring out, coach Greg Schiano said yesterday. Jackman, from Freeport, N.Y., will likely transfer to Hofstra, where he will have two years of eligibility -- and can play immediately next fall. Lewis, who appeared in 10 games this season, will graduate in May and then might follow assistant coach Darren Rizzi to Rhode Island to play his fifth year. Rizzi, Rutgers' associate head coach, has been named URI's head coach. Lewis would also be able to play immediately because he is transferring down to the Football Championship Subdivision. Schiano said reserve linebacker Blair Bines broke his jaw yesterday in practice for the second time this season. "It's a fluke," Schiano said. Bines first broke his jaw in preseason camp and missed the first four games.</div> Ledger Not surprised at all that Jackman and Lewis are transferring. I've known about the Jackman transfer for about a week now, and there were rumblings another kid was going to transfer as well, just didn't know who. Also, do not be surprised if Jack Corcoran tranfers out soon. All three of these guys probably realize there's going to be very, very limited PT in the future, especially with Corocan at FB. Morales played great towards the end of last year, and Brooks is going to be a stud. Also, how the hell did Bines breaks his jaw TWICE in the SAME YEAR! Crazy. Hope he heals up OK. I expect him to be a key piece to the LB group next year.
