    I wonder what everyone here thinks? If I had a mansion I'd have a gun to protect my home. Or if I was walking around with 100 K around my neck I'd consider it as well (only with the proper permits and such), otherwise I'd just get some security people to deal with all the gun drama.

    Edit: The 100 K comment was just to mess with you people. :]

    Lol it was just a funny thought (wouldn't mind a nice chain but I'm not THAT into jewelery) but I would consider getting an expensive car if I was loaded. I'm more into off-road vehicles for the most part, or motorcycles though.

    I think that huevon is touching on the issue of NBA players having so much wealth, and with this huge wealth comes the fear of losing it all, players become paranoid once they've "made it" and will do anything to protect that wealth. Its out of fear that Americans are allowed to carry guns, fear that others Americans with guns will use them to take what they have earned. Once your big in the media, your big everywhere, everybody knows how much you've got, and how much you've got to lose.
