<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Colts | Jackson may change positionsMon, 27 Feb 2006 06:02:48 -0800Mike Chappell, of the Indianapolis Star, reports Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy said over the weekend the Colts are exploring the option of moving CB Marlin Jackson, their 2005 first-round draft pick, from cornerback to safety. "You want your best players on the field,'' Dungy said at the NFL Combine. "I know Marlin wants to play corner, feels he's a corner and that's where he played most of the time (in 2005).'' Dungy would not fully rule out the move for Jackson to safety.</div>
Wouldn't surprise me at all, he played a lot of Safety in college. That's the glory of picking a guy like him (a versitile player)
What happened to Mike Doss and Bob Sanders? I figured those two would be set in stone for years to come.
Yes I could see them moving Jackson out there in place of Doss. Sanders wouldn't be a 2nd string in his career if he keeps this up.

It seems like all I remember about Doss is all his mistakes. I think he has played worse each year he has been in the league. But that is how all average players are, you only can pick out the mistakes. Jackson would be an upgrade at safety, but this rumor might get smashed if the Colts cut Nick Harper.
