Got this from Insider. There is talk the Suns and Nuggets have had prelimary talks involving a trade of Jacobsen for Skita. The Nuggets are still looking for someone to replace Voshon Lenard, and they are offering Skita as trade bait. Should the Suns pull the trigger on this deal?
The suns should pull the trigger, they'd have to move either JJ or Q to the bench and Shawn and Amare would be back at there natural positions if Skita gradually worked his way to the starting line. Only good things can result from this deal, Jacobsen is a great player but he'd be better off with Denver he would get more playing time and could actually showcase his talent alongside Miller, Camby, K-Mart, Nene and Melo. The Sun's would lose that shooting touch off the bench but then we could move Leandro to the backup SG and bring Tabuse into the bench.
There is no chance Skita can beat out JJ or Q-Rich to be the starting SG. Skita's a 7footer with a shot, more along the lines of Dirk Nowitzki. He has yet to prove he can even compete in the NBA and so far he's been a bust. I could see him coming off the bench to backup Amare or Marion, but he's just not fast enough for the way the Suns run their offense. He does have the infamous 'upside' label, but is he worth the gamble?
Wow, the Suns should do this one without a doubt. Phoenix already has Richardson and Johnson at the shooting guard position, so they won't be desperate to keep Jacobsen. Besides, Jacobsen lacks skill in creating his own shot and is nothing more than a spot-up shooter. Tskitishvili had a great showing in the summer and oozes potential. The only worry about him is whether he will actually be successful, but the Suns can afford to keep him as a project with the lineup they have right now. In the future, Skita, Stoudemire, Lampe and Carbakapa can form a very nice frontcourt nucleus.

I think taking in Skita is worth the gamble, because if we need offense off of our bench we have Leandro Barbosa who can light it and he played great after the Marbury deal in his rookie season. I dont think we would be in trouble if we traded for Skita, because Jacobsen is only logging 19.1 minutes a game and Barbosa can easily handle that much.
Skita can't play C. He has no post game whatsoever and lacks the body to guard centers. He's a seven-footer who tosses up threes.
Peja King nailed it... LAmpe is our big man project and Zarko is our bust (it bugs me to say that) so we don't need Skita to be the best of both. Lampe has a better chance of coming around to a real high post center type game than Skita by a mile. If Zarko ever gets his confidence back and puts on some pounds he is our offensive spark off the bench at SF. Now Casey plus the Bulls pick for Nene...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Peja King:</div><div class="quote_post">PHX already have Zarko and Lampe who are 7footers playin like a guard...they dont need Skita</div> Exactly, like panfolk said Lampe is our main project now and I don't think we would want to bring two 7' footers that are still big projects into this team which has a chance at contending now with Jacobsen coming off the bench. If anything I would trade Jacobsen for a proven center, someone that can sub in for Amare.

The best the Suns can get for him is probably just Tskitishvili.

The Sixers have a lot of depth at the big man spot with Dalembert and Jackson so maybe they will spare to give up Skinner. Plus if you throw in one of our 2 first round picks from this year we may be able to get somebody half decent. Does anyone know if our Bulls pick is lottery protected or even top 3 protected? Because they are off to a 0-9 start and I can't imagine the Suns with the #1 pick in the draft. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">You want Foyle for him? </div> No thanks . I don't want his 20 year contract worth about 7 million per year...

That's why his stats are so low. I wish O'Brien would play him, though.
