This was actually the first time i heard jacque vaughn talk, when i watched him do an postgame interview after the hideous spurs game. He was dressed to leave, but took an interview about carter's ejection etc. postgame interviews ok, Vaughn has to be the MOST laid back nba player I have ever seen (at least in interviews). Maybe he was just tired from the loss, but he just so ... cool (as in somewhat emotionless) through the interviews. He also never had a definitive statement, always allowing both sides of an argument, and just basically kept the same tone. Does anyone else notice this? I'm not ragging on the guy, I acutally enjoyed the way he was responding, it was really interesting. Is he always like this? Maybe some of you longer-time nets fans can tell me.
Not really for sure what you wanted him to say or do? He knows that the refs took that ball game away from us in the 4th. But I mean he is a veteran who has seen plenty of crazy ways for a team to lose a basketball game, so he isnt going to get excited about it. I mean even Vince in his post game interview didnt really get all excited or crazy about the Bruce Bowen sitaution. We can just put this loss right next to the Lakers loss in OT, where Chucky Atkins clearly pushed JV out of bounds in front of the refs. So he should have been shooting free throws to win the game. But the refs felt the need to keep their whistles in their pockets,so we lose. But on a side note yeah JV is a laid back dude, just goes about his business in a Stockton-like fashion not causing any unnessary attention to himself.
