"Two years ago, Todd Monken faced one of the toughest coaching challenges in the NFL.

The Jaguars position coach had a wide receiver corps of Reggie Williams, Matt Jones and Jerry Porter.

Williams and Jones were first-round busts. Porter was a $10 million free agent who caught just 11 passes in his one season with the team in 2008.

"In some ways, you feel like you failed,'' Monken said.

Clearly, though, Monken didn't have a lot to work with.

Williams, Jones and Porter have not played in a regular season game after the Jaguars cut them after the 2008 season, though Jones will be in the Bengals' camp this summer."
