Jalen also scored 25 pts in the 4th quarter against Indiana and led the Bulls to victory. Dont call the best guy on our team a bum. When Jalen gets 7 or more assists they win most of the games. Obviously that doesnt happen alott because he only worries about his stats. He may get 20 but give up 20.
I'm not a huge fan of Jalen and his lack of defense, but I don't consider him a ball hog at the end of games. He had nothing to work with this season (mostly the beginning) and was the one the Bulls needed to get them out of whatever hole they dug themselves into in the 4th quarter. The reason the Bulls won more when he had 6+ assists was because Cartwright had him start the game by passing the ball inside to Eddy and Tyson because they could finally produce.

Even if Jamal or Tyson or Eddy were on fire, you knew who would take the shot. It was so predictable for other teams too. They would just double team him and he would just fire up hte ball. And for this and his HORRIBLE defense I dislike him.
I don't blame you for disliking him for his defense. He'd be a whole lot better if he wanted to be. He's missing the effort.. I'm hoping it's not too late for Cartwright to pound some defensive intensity into him, but I doubt it, since he's been in the league so long.

He may get 20 but give up 20. </div> When Rose passed more, they did win. He gets 5.6 ast when they win, but he also gets 5 rebounds and 25 points, shot 52% from 3 and 45 from the field overall. So its not only passing that helps the team, its his scoring and rebounding. He also is given more minutes when they win.
