QUOTE

They haven’t won by more than nine–and that nine point winwas in overtime against the Bulls. They’ve lost four games by more than 25. They’ve also lost five straight at home. Butthat’s not stopping Jalen Rose, now of ESPN, from suggesting that when playoff time comes, “if everyone’s healthy and playing at a high level, they’re as good as any of the teams in the East.” He projects the Nets as the #5 seed.

Jalen Rose knows as much about basketball as Kid Chocolate knows about women. For the Nets to be the 5th seed, they need better bench production, less Kidd minutes and someone other then Sean Williams playing down low. I think a guy like Webber, who is old yes, can help more then Malik Allen can and has a better jumper. I see the Nets as a 6th, 7th seed most likely.

Our bench production has been quite good this year.

And it's tough to limit Kidd's minutes at the moment with Marcus Williams and D-Armstrong out with injuries. Though, Eddie Gill has been solid the past few games.

I ment to the Raptors, but yes, that is a blow out.

Still, I wasn't saying the Nets are bad, I was just informing on my opinion that the Nets will not be the 5th seed. I see Jizzy has a real problem when a non-Nets fan has a different opinion then his.

no, my opinion of T-Dot has always been that they are overrated, stemming back to there playoff loss. there living up to my potential right now, don't take offense to this.

How can you call them overrated? No one really pegged them to beat the Nets in the playoffs, even I had my doubts. Your potential is to low because you are a Nets fan, but the Raptors are way better then their record shows. I see them coming second in the atlantic, unless Boston collapses, and 4th-5th in the East. I see NJ being 6th-7th and could go very far in the playoffs, but right now, I don't see it.

Correct me if im wrong but thats the only blow out lose the Raptors had this season, you cant really judge how good of a team is by the boxscore of a single game. Not counting the Milwaukee game the Raptors have lost 6 games by an average of 5.1 points, now in my opinion that is very low so we could have easily won a couple more games then our record indicates. Anyways my prediction for the Eastern Conference standings by seasons end is Toronto finishing somewhere between 4-6th and NJ 5-8th.

The Nets are one game behind the Raptors. Many of their losses coming while their most prolific scorer was missing.

The Rap and the Nets are pretty even.

    Here's a fun experiment.

Look at the past handful of posts that have been criticizing Toronto. Swap "Toronto" with "New Jersey"

Ask yourself if you've ever said that post.

    Watch your mind explode.

And then for the record Toronto blew us the f*** out at home, so I've got to give them the edge.

We have to admit, Toronto is a better consistent team than New Jersey.

They must thank God thatthey are not the fans of New Jersey.

Watching too many Nets games would harm your body.
