Although both have always had horrible shot selection, atleast Jalen normally only takes bad shots 15 feet out. We've all seen Antoine take turnaround 3 pointers. Jalen has always been a better passer, and neither paly any defense
Antoine, because he will give you 20-22 points, get some boards and play very well offensively, even though he takes alot of shots. I'd still rather have him than no defense-rose.
Antoine Walker Rose in his prime was an excellent player as well. He could play as a wing or a PG and could score and set up teammates. Walker was/is a guy that can play both forward positions and a guy that could get you 20+ points, 9 boards, and 5 assists. Hate his shot selection all you want, Jalen's shot selection was nothing to brag about either. Both were about equal scorers in my opinion, just in different ways. Rose scored off the dribble, squaring up, or driving to the basket. Walker scored off taking forwards off the dribble, knocking down threes, and his tweener shots that are rare to have. They were equal playmakers, but as far as how well they should have been for their positions, Walker gets the nod because for a PF/SF he and C-Webb were a couple of the only guys that could make plays like that passing the ball. Defensively and shot selection they are both equal and both have problems with both, although when they really want to, they really can turn it on a little defensively. Another thing that gives Walker the nod, is his enthusiasm, heart, leadership, and personality. They are both great interviews, but Rose was never half the teammate Walker is. Antoine's enthusiam is unbelievable and his passion for the game is as high as anyone in the NBA. Both can have a temper at times, but Rose is not a leader. Walker is a leader. Another thing: CLUTCH! Walker - 3 time All-Star Rose - 0 Antoine Walker > Jalen Rose
