He would get playing time under Phil Jackson, add veteran leadership, and probably wouldn't mind not making a ton of money since he'd probably be receive close to $10 million already from the knicks....people's thoughts?
Jalen at the piont wouldnt be bad. Rose Bryant and Odem. Big guards are phils taste. Rose bryany odem cook Bynum If the bech could get a little better that would be nice.
He's an upgrade over Green or McKie, and he's expressed interest in playing for LA before. I wouldn't mind giving him a look, because he's versatile and savvy veteran.

I wouldn't mind giving Rose a two year deal using the LLE and having the 2nd year be a team option.

Especially since we'd be paying him half of what were paying some of our younger guys.
I wouldn't mind seeing Rose on the team. He's the big guard that Phil loves and is a very savvy vet. He'd also allow us to move Smush to a backup role (potentially at both guard positions), something I think he's more suited for.
That's a great suggestion. I don't know about the lakers cutting Green and McKie at the same time. Maybe if Jalen gets cut and hangs around they could probably pick him up by mid season. GIve green a chance to develop.
yep. read about it earlier today. Now we just need to scoop him up. Maybe Kobe can work some magic in that department.
