What do you guys think of him? How is he panning out for Golden State?

Al Harrington is going crazy with the Knicks: 25 points and 8 rebounds.

    He's good.

He is quiet as hell. I wouldn't even know he had 20 points in a game until I look at the scoreboard. I love how he always gets fouled on jumpers.

As for Harrington, he beasted when he was with the Hawks. We just had too many offensive players for him to try and score. You guys have Duhon who could set him up, while we had no real point guard.

He's horrible. Another in the endless stream of bad shooting scorers on bad teams. Someone "getting theirs." He does not make the others better, does not hustle on the glass or on defense. Terrible. He's another piece towards mediocrity.

I have to agree to a certain extent, though I wouldn't go as harsh as to say horrible. Basically he is just and And-1 mix tape player, IMO.

The guy thinks he can shoot the three, but he's just streaky as hell. He's SJax streaky. It's deceptive, because you'll hear people say how he shot 46% from three this year in NY. But that was only 11 games. Otherwise, he's a career 35% three point shooter. That's 9 years in the league, with a TON of attempts (165-521 in 2003, then 185-512 in 2004, for example).

In 2003-2004, he shot .317 % from three, yet took 521 attempts!!! That's just SJax bad right there. That's Baron Davis bad. That's f**king horrible for your team, man. That means your shooting 6 1/2 threes EVERY NIGHT! And barely making 30% of them. FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR, over 80 games!

In other words, Crawford's been in the league 9 years, and he's proven over the last decade that, although he can jack up more threes than almost anyone in the league, he can't shoot for sh!t and is a rapid-fire brick layer.

So there you go. Doesn't make this team better. We'd been much better off just letting Harrington expire a year earlier than Crawford and getting the cap relief.

I don't like the addition of Crawford for several reasons: inconsistency, weak defensive game, not that strong physically, stuck in between point guard and shooting guard, bad shot selection. He can also be a momentum killer with his high volume scoring instincts... Did I mention he's weak defensively?

The positives about him is that he's got excellent crossover, he's an above average shooter when taking "good" shots, and he's adequate passer for combo guard. He's more exciting than he is valuable to the team. The stuff that is exciting is his ballhandling, followed by an off the dribble *clank*. The dude can't finish.
