This is a serious topic. I honestly think he's one of the best PG's in the nation. He's a good friend of mine, and he is realllllly good. No doubt one of the best talents at guard I've ever seen. This guy is gonna be good at the NBA level if scouts give him a chance...His stats from the last game were this: (Remember, he is 6'1" 175) Jamar Wilson scored 22 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals vs. St Bonaventure. He plays for University at Albany in New York. I know he doesn't play great talent, but he had 20 pts and 7 rbs adn 5 ast vs UCONN when Albany came real close to upsetting them last season.^Posted this at OTR, figured I'd bring it here..^
He's pretty much a poor man's Rajon Rondo...can rebound, run the team but his shooting percentages are terrible and he plays at a very small school. I wouldn't really put much stock in him, I have obviously not watched him but he doesn't stand out that much. You obviously are more close to the team.

They just went D-1 like 5 years ago, and they are really dedicated to making their program top notch.
Since you are his friend, do you have any idea of what he thinks about if he will be drafted to the NBA and if not what other career he is considering or if he is going to stay with Basketball
He honestly believes he is going to the NBA...I can't really put it any other way, he's destined to get there..You can check out his site, www.jamarwilson31.com <we had to shut it down because the local media was calling him "selfish" for having his own site while in college, but once he gets out we are reopening it.>

Why are you making such a big deal out a small-school guard thats putting up nice numbers...He's obviously a pretty good player but putting up numbers against St. Bonaventure isn't anything to get excited about.

He had 20/5/5 against UCONN last year.

I don't expect him in the first round of this upcoming draft.</div>I agree with you, but I was just arguing Mardy's point about Jamar being the most complete guard in the nation.
Interesting Read from CSTV.com:"If the Great Danes have shown one major flaw this season, it's that they can get too caught up in standing and watching while G Jamar Wilson works his magic."Albany coaches quickly identified the problem and adjusted the offense accordingly, forcing Wilson's castmates to make plays and become more involved even when games are on the line. The problem is understandable, however. It's hard not to admire what Wilson is doing this season and it's easy to expect him to win games by himself. The senior is putting up one of the best campaigns in league history."Just a short story, but thought it was really good...and the truth.
I'm from upstate new york thats why I know alot about him and I believe he deserves recognitionhttp://www.geocities.com/draftjamar/DraftJW.htm heres the site I might have a lead on a news station that might pick up a story on this website
