<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I'd love to get him, but the only problem is will he still be around by the time the 19th pick comes along? The Heat had St. Joseph's point guard Jameer Nelson in for a workout Thursday, and GM Randy Pfund didn't hold back on his praise for the first-round prospect. Some projections have Nelson available to the Heat at the No. 19 pick, while others believe Nelson could go as high as No. 10. ''He's the type of player that would fit in very well in our system because he's a mature guy and a very tough competitor,'' said Pfund, whose team holds the Nos. 19, 47 and 53 selections. ``I'm not going to hide the fact that he's a good player and somebody you would probably have to consider.'' Pfund made a token reference to possibly trading the No. 19 pick, but he was also fairly blunt about the team's poor chances of making a move up the draft board.</div> More here.
In The newest ESPN Mag it has Nelson going to the heat at 19 then the heat could move Wade to his natural position SG and Nelson at the PG
Yeah but would if they didnt switch Wade to sg,than Jameer would get limited playing time,IMO he is the best pg in the draft and he deserves to start some where.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting B-22:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah but would if they didnt switch Wade to sg,than Jameer would get limited playing time,IMO he is the best pg in the draft and he deserves to start some where.</div> The whole reason we want to get Eddie Jones out of Miami is so we can move Dwyane to the 2 spot. Until EJ is gone, Dwyane will be our starting PG and probably switch to the 2 guard half way through the game when Eddie is on the bench like he's done all this season.
Jameer Nelson won't be available when we pick, he's even up to lottery now on many draft sites, so....
