James is dealing with the trade <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LeBron James and Darius Miles were inseparable from the day the Cavaliers won the NBA draft lottery. It's not surprising, then, that James took the news of Miles' trade to the Portland Trail Blazers quite hard. "It's real tough to deal with," said James, who worked out with Miles throughout the summer at Gund Arena. "He's my best friend on the team. I hated to see him go, but I hope he does well in Portland. "I do understand it's a business." James spoke to the media following Cleveland's 95-89 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night ?one day after the Cavaliers dealt Miles to the Trail Blazers in exchange for Jeff McInnis and Ruben Boumtje Boumtje. Though the swap meant James lost a friend on the club, he also gained a veteran point guard in McInnis who can make his job much easier on the court. "It'll help our team a lot," James said. "We needed another guy that can help with the ball, and we've got that."</div> Full Story
Yeah, I knew a trade of Miles would be hard for James to deal with, they were so good friends! But I really hope James see what is for the team's best, because Miles was a bad player that had to go, he hasn't developed a **** since his rookie season, and I really hope he'll do in Blazers, so Cavs get him back and James is happy! We get a great ballhandling and teamplaying pointguard from the addition of Jeff McInnis!
I think he ownz i dunno how he doesnt get enough minutes if i was the coach ill start him and lebron on the court are really good...anyways is hard for lebron..his rookie season u make a best friend on the team is kinda like T-Mac and Mike Miller when he got traded away for gooden and giricek.
I agree that Miles and James had good chemistry together on the court. But only in transition. If Miles would have improved in his free throw shooting, I think the Cavs might have considered in keeping him. LeBron's 1st NBA best friend...aww.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting HoustonHoopa33:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, I'm curious to see if this trade has any effect on Lebron...</div> James will be fine. However him saying "It is a business" can be taken 2 ways. 1: I understand he was not helping the team, it is a business, we have to move on to better the franchise. 2: It is just a business all right, either they don't make the right moves to make us winners or I will be out of here (a business, remember?)
