WASHINGTON ? Washington Wizards forward Antawn Jamison had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, and the team said Wednesday he's expected to make a full recovery before training camp begins in October.

Jamison had scar tissue removed Tuesday in Los Angeles.

The All-Star battled tendinitis in the knee for most of the second half of the season. He had played in 386 consecutive games ? at the time, the NBA's longest active streak ? before missing a game March 8 because of the knee. Jamison then sat out 11 of the Wizards' next 13 games.

Jamison averaged 19.6 points and 7.6 rebounds during the regular season for the Wizards, helping them go 45-37 to reach the playoffs for the first time since the 1996-97 season.

He aggravated the knee injury during Washington's second-round loss to the Miami Heat, but didn't miss a game.</div>

    Exactly what og15 said....

NOTE for fellow members - I've been extremely busy finishing up school work. I've been doing a huge english project all week so I really haven't had time for leisure on the internet.
