<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Mavericks are running on empty when it comes to the NBA's season awards, with probably only one player having a legitimate shot at being honored. Antawn Jamison has better numbers ? 14.4 points, 6.3 rebounds ? than any sixth man in the league. And he has been a true sixth man, starting just two games and playing fewer than 30 minutes per game. He is likely to receive heavy consideration for the award, along with Indiana's Al Harrington and Denver's Earl Boykins. San Antonio's Manu Ginobili could gather some support, but he has started 38 of the 72 games he's played. "When you think of sixth man, you think of somebody coming off the bench, improving the team offensively, giving a spark," Jamison said. "And I think I've accomplished a lot of those things. I've stayed at an even keel. I don't know if I've done enough to win it. Ginobili is up there. Bobby Jackson has been hurt. Al Harrington is there. It's a great group of talent there for the sixth man."</div> I agree, he has accepted his role and taken good to it. On the other hand if Jamsion doesnt get it my close 2nd pick would have to go to Al Harrington.
Its funny I was about to make this post. But yeah most definetly Jamison is my 6th man. I think he should start but Its good to see a player come of the bench with so much energy. He deserves this award.
He used to be but the fact he plays better off the bench and Hedo preforms better as a starter. So It was a no brainer what rotation needed to be done.
