<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Washington forward Antawn Jamison, bothered by a sore right knee, said Monday he will play tonight in Game 2 of the Heat-Wizards Eastern Conference semifinals series.

The injury -- which forced Jamison to miss 14 games this season -- limited him to 11 minutes in the second half of Sunday's 105-86 Heat win. Jamison said the knee felt ''a lot better'' after a day's rest.

''It's one of those incidents that reoccurred, not having the proper rest,'' said Jamison, who did not practice Monday. ``The tendinitis has been giving me problems half the season. It kind of got flared up . . . in the second quarter. I just couldn't plant and push off of it . . .

``I'm a trooper . . . I have to go out there and give what I can. . . . Me being at 75, 80 percent is better than me not being out there at all.''

Jamison -- who averaged 19.6 points and 7.6 rebounds during the regular season -- bemoans having a health problem during a most inopportune time.

''It's tough,'' he said. ``I've been through a lot -- five years not even getting close to making it to the playoffs [with Golden State]. Last year, coming off the bench [for Dallas], and this year, getting to the playoffs. . . . To make it to the second round when my teammates really need me at 100 percent is difficult.''

Wizards coach Eddie Jordan wasn't sure what to expect of Jamison: ``He's tough enough to go, but how effective will he be? Will he help us or hurt us? He's been banged up for a month.''</div>

It's good he played because he was a huge factor scoring 32 points and shooting well from the field. The Wiz put up a good effort in the game, but just weren't able to contain Wade, and even half healthy Shaq is still a presence on the floor.

The Heat just played a lot better, I think Wade alone had more assists than the whole Wizards team. Hughes struggled the first 3 quarters, but did good in the 4th, and Arenas also had a great game with 28 points.

The Wiz are going home now, we'll see how that works out.

Miami has not been that impressive in their first 2 games against Washington. If we had great efforts from the big three and the bench in atleast one of these first two games, I'm confident we would be heading back to Washington D.C. with a 1-1 series, but we haven't had contributions like that.

It is key that we win these two games up in D.C. in a convincing manner, not just one game. If we can win the two, we go back to Miami with the series 2-2, and I believe have the momentum.

We are going to need Hughes to play smarter ball, he is killing us by taking stupid shots and not passing on the break.

Once again, lack of bench production killed us.
