San Antonio Express-News - The Knicks also reportedly have talked to the Timberwolves about exchanging Quentin Richardson, who rarely plays, for Marko Jaric, currently pouting after losing his starting spot to Marcus Banks. [READ]

Awful trade for us. Q is a better defender than Jaric (well, at least this season) and once he gets his jumper back and restores his confidence, he'll be much more valuable to us.

Besides, Jaric doesn't seem like a Isiah Thomas kind of player...

What in God's name are you talking about??? Awful trade for us???? This would be Isiah Thomas' best move to date!!! Richardson has given us absolutely nothing and there's no reason to think that he will at this stage! We'd be trading an overrated, way underachieving bum for a player that could run the offense the way Brown wants it ran and allow Marbury to play shooting guard. Who the Hell cares if he's an Isiah Thomas kind of player?! That's a plus as far as I'm concerned. Isiah Thomas kind of players are the reason why we're in this God awful mess in the first place!

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.

What? Marko Jaric is not a great playmaker. I'd say decent at best. If Richardson was hitting shots we wouldn't be complaining. Why can't we expect Richardson to improve? He's just not hitting shots he normally hits. Q-Rich has given us rebounding and defense this season and once he starts hitting his usual shots we'll be better off with Q. The fact that he isn't an Isiah Thomas player means that we're not getting him so you can keep dreaming.

This move doesn't really help or hurt the Knicks. On paper Marko Jaric looks like the ideal player to run Brown's system, but in reality I don't think Jaric has what it takes to survive in NY.

Jaric was supposed to be the playmaker for the TWolves. He's really struggled in Minnesota and has fallen to #3 on the depth chart behind Anthony Carter and Marcus Banks.

I'll take Q over Jaric because Q still has the ability to become better as the season goes on. Remember his brother died and he got dumped lol, So i dont think he has his head straight. Like Mr.J said he's played great defense this year and is rebounding the ball well. He did a great job on McGrady the other day and on Lebron James also. He has the ability to harass big name SG's.
