This time, it was starting center Jarron Collins who fell to the floor like a tree sawed at the stump.
During the second quarter of the Jazz's 92-85 loss at New Orleans, Collins sprained the AC joint ? the area where the scapula and the clavicle intersect ? in his right shoulder.
He did it trying to fight through a screen.
"Basically," Collin said, "I went into a wall."
X-rays were negative for bone damage, but Jazz trainer Gary Briggs said Collins is "doubtful" for the Jazz's next game, Sunday at San Antonio. Treatment will include anti-inflammatory medication.
"We'll see how it feels (today)," said Collins, who was wearing a sling afterward, "and just go from there."</div>
