I’ve been dreaming about this experience since I was a little kid. It’s finally here now and it’s pretty gratifying. Q: How many teams did you work out for? Hayes: Just in the last two weeks I worked out for 10 or 11. I’ve been a moving, traveling man. Where’s Waldo? Where’s Jarvis? Q: Good preparation for those long NBA seasons. Hayes: It is. It certainly is a grueling process. Q: Have you gotten a feel for where you might end up? Hayes: I’ll play for anybody. I have a pretty good feeling I’ll go in the top 15, which is pretty good; maybe up a little bit, maybe down a little bit. Q: Does not knowing you will select you make you anxious? Hayes: Everybody in my camp is anxious. But that’s the fun part of it, the thrill of not knowing. Q: How frustrating was the situation at Georgia? Hayes: It was real tough, especially the way it ended. We were rolling toward the end of the year and it was just snatched away from us. I think they’ll be alright next year. Q: Does what’s going on now make how your college career ended any easier? Hayes: It’s a little bit of relief because we are right at the end. Everybody is on pins and needles waiting for tomorrow night. Q: What’s going to be the toughest transition for you? Hayes: Probably the 82-game schedule. In college, you play no more than 30, 35 games. Q: Do you think you’ll be able to contribute right away? Hayes: I think I will. I think I’m ready for the pounding in the NBA just by playing in the SEC the last two years. I think I’m ready. </div>
