Jason Kidd. He just gets the job done more consistantly. Baron is the better scorer, but when Kidd doesn't score, he always fills it up on rebounds and assist. He does all you want a PG to do and more. Like also the better defender.
Get this garbage out of here. Outside of scoring, Kidd is better in every area....defense, passing, rebounding, leading, clutch play, consistency, etc...

Baron Davis can't stay healthy which is a reason why many will/would take Kidd. The first 3 years of his career he played all 82 games but since then he has missed at least 15 games in each of the last 5 seasons 32, 15, 36, 28 and 19.
Not really...Nash is an offensive point guard and Kidd is a defensive point guard. Just because they can pass and are white doesn't make them similar and we already had that comparison.

Just because he is a great defender and rebounder doesn't make him a defensive minded PG. His greatest strengths are offensively, being one of the great playmakers and fastbreak PG's of all time.
dude, why did you quote their playoff stats instead of regular season stats? It's been four games. And btw, this thread's a joke. It's obviously Kidd.Does anybody but me find it impressive that KG's annual efficiency that he keeps up for a whole season is equal to Kidd's four game playoff efficiency in which he's averaging a crazy triple double?

I think that's a requirement for any good point guards, but besides that Kidd's strength is on D and his shooting and scoring ability is not good at all.

He is the leader of the offense, and does everything for the offense that doesn't show up on the stat sheet. Yes, he isn't a great scorer, but that doesn't make him defensive-minded at all.
I'm saying that a PG should do those things, but I'm saying that those 2 guys aren't similar because overall Kidd is a much better defensive player while Nash is a better shooter and scorer.
Yes, but you said that Kidd was defensive minded, and that's what I'm disagreeing with. He is a fantastic defender and rebounder, but he is still most definately an offensive-minded player.I now understand what you meant by it, but the way you worded it was confusing.
Baron is playing pretty f*cking good right now, but you still have to give it to J-Kidd. Baron is a better scorer, but nothing besides that. Jason Kidd is an amazing Pg...Its that simple.
Last night during our win the Baron played through being hurt. He is a tough player, and is very into the game as you saw while we were beating the Mavericks this series 4 to 2.
Yeah, but you cant say a player is better just because he plays good in one series of the playoffs. Kidd is a more consistent player and he brings alot more to the table. He is just a much better pick than Baron.

I think that Jason Kidd is probaly a better player by a little bit but not by much. Also if Baron wouldn't get hurt every season I think he would be better than Jason Kidd.

Playmaking, rebounding, defense, leadership, clutch play, decision making, consistency, etc...
I dont really think this is a comparison, Jason Kidd can torch you in the half court set and on the fast break. His posting ability is his strength, the Nets run plays around that.
