Meh, I like Quick's rapport with Isaak and Suke. Unlike most of you, I love Primetime. I like their blend of sports and pop culture. And I think, over all, they're clever guys even if I don't agree with all their sports takes.

Yeah, I'm ok with Isacc and Suke Too. They aren't quite as arrogant as JC during that same time slot.

Is this a coup for the Fan or the Game? I'm not entirely sure.

Do these stations pay Jason to drop insider tidbits on the listeners?

I hope Quick gets to replace the god-awful Jim Rome Show.

I got fed up with sports radio so i've just been listening to politics on the radio for the past 6 months of so. Much more entertaining, IMO. Especially the nutjobs that obviously don't believe (at least lets hope not) what they are saying, yet their listeners do, lol. Good times.

I didn't realize he was never on The Game. I thought he was a guest on both. I can't stand Canzano or the 2 dorks on 1080! But the 1080 guys know NOTHING about basketball or the NBA! It is tough to listen to somebody that has a podium like they do have no fucking clue what they are talking about! In a way, it is like reading the majority of your guys' posts!

I really like Primetime as well. I think it's better than any show on The Game. I wonder when The Game will bring Isaac and Suke over to their side and effectively end KFFX.

I don't listen to either station, so it really doesn't matter where JQuick goes.

This is good news. Now Suke and Isaac can get back to talking about, boxing, waxing their back hair, and how much their own golf games suck instead of having to clutter their show with actual locally relevant sports talk.

Come on now. You are breaking the cardinal rule here - your take wasn't snarky, wasn't holier-than-thou, and you actually said something nice about someone trying to do their job to the best of their ability. What the F???

Your partisan thread in the OT forum does deserve a WTF, doesn't it?

Isaac and Big Suck are terrible. I was in the party suite at the R-G for Game 5 against the Rockets, right above the media section, and the entire media section was full, except for two seats. And the nametags in front of the seats were "Isaac Ropp, 1080 The Fan" and "Jason Scukanec, 1080 The Fan."

Honestly, how the hell can you claim to be a thought leader on local sports if you don't even attend one of the biggest sporting events in the region?

    A couple of douchebags.

    Good move by Quick.

Well to be honest, with most newspapers failing, Quick needs to do something for job security. If they pay him, more power to him.

One day, someone will have to tell me what they find so appealing about sports radio. I like watching games, but if I'm going to listen to people talk, NPR is much more entertaining. I may not agree with much of what they say, but they always make me think.
