I'd take Melo. Very good long range player, he is good at cutting hard to the basket and using his quicks. Also very clutch. Both can't play defense. But Melo is a decent rebounder and passer.

Has to be Melo. He plays with good consistency and is a few years younger than Richardson. He has the pontential to become a real superstar.

You have to say Melo because he's got alot of potental from what he's already shown. He's probably the best or one of the best clutch men in NBA to date. Also he has 3 or 4 more years on Jrich. But, all and all Jrich has one major factor over Melo. EXPERIANCE.

At least Melo has been to the playoffs twice, I'll take that experience over the extra year or two Ricahrdson's been in the league.

How can we even compare these two players? Carmelo has a much wider offensive variety in his bag, and has also proven to be a superioir player down the stretch of games. More importantly, he has played as the main player of his team the past few years, and they have made the playoffs everytime. JRich on the other hand, has never made the playoffs, even with a solid team this year.

I wouldnt go that far. The Warriors won't ever have a solid team until they get someone who is not a wimp in their frontcourt. But when Ike breaks out into the player I know he will become then they won't have an excuse for not making the playoffs.

So you can honestly tell me you'd rather have Jason Richardson on your team than Carmelo? What has Richardson done is his career? Score points? Carmelo has been a better scorer over the coarse of his career. Jason Richardson is also a great rebounder, however Carmelo is averaging more rebounds per game over the coarse of his career. Both are far from good passers, so let's forget about that. However, I will admit that Richardson is a better defensive player, even if he gambles much too much.Carmelo, as we also know, is absolute money late in games. He's done it throughout his career, throughout this season. Richardson is just another player like a CUttino Mobely, a Steve Francis, who's going to score alot yet never do anything when it mattersCarmelo is a better scorer, at this point in his career an equal rebounder, and is far superioir in the game's last moments. Not to mention he shoots an unparalleled 48% from the field... I'd take Melo on my team, and as a player

No, look up at my original post. I'd rather have Carmelo, I was just defending Richardson from what you said earlier.

So when Ike breaks into an All Star player JRich won't have an excuse for missing the playoffs?

well it depends what your team overall is.. if you are a fastbreak high tempo team your gonna want J-Rich, if your a even talented team and need a post-up/scorer then you take carmelo..

Which will be in about 1 or 2 years.

Yes, he is a good finnesse player and rebounder but I think they will have to part ways because right now, what they need is a solid inside presence on both ends and Murph can't do that.

The guy averaged 3.6 ORPG last year, and 2.5 this year. He is a garbage player, a hustler, and has great hands. He's exactly what the Warriors, and every NBA team needs

Carmelo. He is a strong player great potential, clutch, and drives the lane like a pro. And Melo is also younger but catching up quick.
