Terry by far.I know Bibby is having a decent season, but Terry has been playing great in his second year in Dallas. He's just as clutch, probably more so this year, than Bibby, and isn't afraid to take that shot. He's a bigger part of the offense, especially in running the offense, and his assist are coming up, and have been more than I would have expected from a supposed "shoot first" PG.
Yeah I agree Bibby is overrated. He shoots a low percentage, he plays poor defense, and he has disappeared in the playoffs the last 2 years.
it's nobody by far, marvin, stop being a homer.I'll take Bibby. He is more of a true pg. Better playmaker and just as good of a scorer. The only thing is, Terry plays better in the clutch.
I think Terry is better, but Bibby is called too much of a poor defender too much. Did anybody NOT notice Mike Bibby got the steal with about 7 seconds left in Game 3?
Id take Bibby too. I think they are equal scoring wise. Both are energy guys on offense and great shooters. But the difference being, Bibby sees the court alot better than Terry.
Bibby is not as an efficient shooter as Terry is. Bibby also has poor shot selection and it hurts his team. Bibby has been a no show for 2 straight playoffs series now while Terry is playing his absolute best basketball. Terry is even getting 5 assist in the playoffs and he isn't called to be a playmaker that often.
Well, Terry and Nowitzki are almost perfect pressure players, and as a combo, they're almost unstoppable.

It's really not that hard to get 5 assists when you play close to 40 MPG and you have the ball and your the starting pg. I guess you could call Mike James a playmaker as well.
Terry is played like a shooting guard most of the time and Howard and Nowitzki have the ball just as much. Bibby is not really a pure point guard either so I wouldn't be bragging about his passing ability. He is forced to create more on Sacramento and that is why his assist count is higher.

Yeah but the pg dribbles the ball up the court. He gives guys a pass. If they make the shot, boom an assist. I know Dallas is an Iso team but 5 apg still isnt very impressive.
Well the main difference to me is that Terry is a more consistent spot up 3 point shooter. They both are equally bad on defense but I haven't been impressed with Bibby this year. Bibby was at his best with Divac's and Webber but now he struggles more with his shooting.
Terry is the best its as simple as that. Terry can do every thing bibby can do and stick defense much better and drive better
he shoots a bit below Terry but it is really not that big of a deal.Terry: .411Bibby: .386Big deal. They are both equally good shooters. You could say that Terry is the better shooter but than you would have to say that Bibby is the better scorer. He averages 4 ppg more.
Terry 47% from the field, 41.1 from 3 point range and 80% from free throws.Bibby 43.2% from the field, 38.6% from 3 point range, and 85% from free throws. Surprisingly they are close but so are the assist numbers. Bibby only averages 5.4 apg in 38.6 minutes while Terry averages 3.8 in 35.0 minutes.
That is actually pretty far off in terms of apg.The point is, Bibby has better court vision than Terry. I know I would rather have Bibby because he can score 20 ppg and shoot the ball well and still go out and see the floor well.
Terry isn't asked to pass the ball. Avery wants Terry to be a spot up shooter and there aren't many in the league better at that than Terry. 4% field goal percentage higher is also a big differene if you think 1.6 assist more is a lot. I'd take quality shots over quantity and have a slightly higher point count.
