    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MIAMI ? White Chocolate had gone vanilla.

The flash, flourish -- well, flavor -- seemingly had been churned out of Jason Williams' game.
Throughout training camp and into the first week of the season, the Heat's new starting point guard had made such a point of fitting in that he seemingly had lost himself.

This certainly was not the talent coined White Chocolate by a member of the Sacramento Kings staff who saw a touch of soul in his street-smart game as a rookie.

And then, over the past two games -- the Heat's first winning streak of the season -- the rich texture returned.

Instead of turning the corner on a pick-and-roll and looking to pass, getting to the rim became the focus.

Instead of idly wandering the perimeter in case a teammate needed ballhandling assistance, there were definitive cuts to comfortable shooting zones.

"Now he's taking it all the way to the basket some," coach Stan Van Gundy said. "He's shooting the ball well, because he's not hesitating at all.

"I just want him to play that way."

Acquired in August, Williams adopted a deferential demeanor upon his arrival. Through the early going, he played as little more than an entry passer to center Shaquille O'Neal. And after O'Neal went down with a sprained right ankle, Williams seemed more concerned about getting out of the way of shooting guard Dwyane Wade.</div>

I am happy with Williams and he has played well thus far hopefully he can keep it up and elevate this teams game.
