<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Jaworski thinks Cutler?s a cut aboveBy Terry McCormick, tmccormick@nashvillecitypaper.comApril 17, 2006 Ron Jaworski wears many hats. The former NFL quarterback is an analyst for ESPN, co-hosts NFL Matchup and was in Nashville over the weekend with the Arena Football League?s Philadelphia Soul, a team he has part ownership in.One hat Jaworski is probably glad he?s not wearing right now is that of an NFL general manager. That said, Jaworski has a very strong opinion as to who he would take if he had the Tennessee Titans? No. 3 overall pick in the April 29-30 draft. And it might surprise you.?It?s not my decision, obviously. It?s a tough decision,? Jaworski said. ?I have studied all the quarterbacks, and I like [Jay]Cutler the best of them.?Jaworski says his preference for the Vanderbilt star is not to belittle the accomplishments of the more heralded Matt Leinart and Vince Young. He just believes that the Commodore quarterback is NFL-ready because of the circumstances he played under.?I think Matt Leinart is going to be very good, and I think Vince Young is going to be very good. ? Everyone has different opinions. What I like about Cutler is that he threw with pressure on him,? Jaworski said. ?His offensive line wasn?t that good, and I saw throws that you have to make at the NFL level, people around him, bodies, throwing from different platforms, around people, sidearm, over the top, and taking hits looking down the gun barrel.?I didn?t see a whole lot of separation from his wide receiving corps, so he was throwing through tight windows. He had to throw accurately with pressure on him. That projects well in the National Football League.?Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and even one of Jaworski?s ESPN cohorts regards Cutler as the draft?s most overrated player right now.?Mel [Kiper] has his own opinion. I look at the game tape, and that doesn?t lie,? Jaworski said. ?When you look at every pass Vince Young has thrown, every pass Jay Cutler has thrown, and every pass Matt Leinart has thrown, you get a pretty good idea. I don?t need anyone to tell me. I played 30 years at the quarterback position, so I?ve got a pretty good feel for it.?</div>http://www.nashvillecitypaper.com/index.cf...s&news_id=49208Felt like posting this for some people *cough* Jon_Vilma *cough*
I think Leinart can develop a stronger arm. If he works really hard every off-season, he could have a strong arm by 25-27, I presume. However, he likes to party in Cali with his Hollywood friends.

It's not like he doesn't have a good arm, he's just not a 60 yard pass downfield thrower. He makes up with his accuracy though.
you don't think he has already tried to "develop" his arm? Pitchers don't get stronger arms as they grow up..........they usually loose strength. maybe he can create better arm strength with improved mechanics...........prolly not.
