The Calgary Flames have dropped the interim tag and promoted Jay Feaster to general manager. The team announced the move Monday at a news conference at the Scotiabank Saddledome. "We were very pleased to see the progress of the team under Jay's direction in the second half of the season, and we are excited to secure Jay to guide the future of this club," Flames President and CEO Ken King said in a statement. Feaster also confirmed that the Flames and forward Curtis Glencross have agreed to a $10.2 million, four-year contract. Calgary hired Feaster last summer as assistant general manager to Darryl Sutter. Feaster took over as interim GM on Dec. 28 when Sutter resigned.
