Nets Waive WilliamsThe Nets announced on Sunday that they have waived Jay Williams, who was attempting a comeback from his devestating motorcycle accident of three years ago. Williams had appeared in all five preseason games so far, averaging 3.8 points in 13.2 minutes per game.Well, as a Nets fan this was expected. I mean, the Nets have Marcus Williams, who is playing very well so far.And the team can't get rid off Jeff McInnis, so they didn't have a roster spot for Jay Williams. I really hope he will find another team that can use him.

I thought most people over here would be interested in what Jay Williams is trying to accomplish.
True, I feel you. Jay has gone through so much and he's worked so damn hard to get back in the league. It's a real shame that he couldn't make the cut. He will end up somewhere eventually though, and I wish him the very best of luck.
Yeah, I can't blame the Nets for not picking him up. I'm not disappointed either, because again, there was no place for him on the team. I agree with you: he'll find a place to play ball in the league.
