Whatever song they're playing now on the radio sucks. The one with that rump shaker beginning the band comes in mixed in with the rump shaker beginning beat. I can't even listen to the lyrics because that damn beat is so annoying.

And it was like he was never retired in the first place. I don't even know why he even made a announcement of retiring in the first place. I think everybody felt like he was full crap when he said that anyways. A yo Hova is retiring. Guys probaly was like ok Jay-Z whatever mumbling under their breathe u lying a$$ bleepER.

Dude, you have to admit none of his new material is anything special.

Who knew the hip hop forum would have just as many fanboys as the rest of the site?

I bet Chamillionaire's latest album(The Sound of Revenge) will be better then Jay-Z's new album. He had a solid album so don't hate.

actually you're the one who started negative comments by commenting on a simple jay-z thread with your only comment to be how you are going to avoid listening to it, am i right? Chamillionaire would be better if he slowed down a bit. WHy do all those Southern rappers rap like their ass is on fire?

Started what? I said I wasn't going to listen to Jay-Z and you turned into the Mother Teresa of rap music preaching about who is good and bad. I said a negative thing about Jay-Z because he's making to exact same music as Lil' Wayne. I seem to remember you weren't too fond of Wayne but when Jay-Z makes the same music you seem to think it's real good. I don't really care for your advise about Chamillionaire's rapping style, I'm not the one you should be giving your expert advise to.

Koopa's music isn't much different from Wayne's though.

The point is though you appreciate Jay's music and hate Wayne's music despite the fact that they are both rapping about the same stuff.

It is different though, I haven't heard a song like "Void In My Life" from Wayne. Chamillionaire put out a good album, Wayne didn't.

That was a good song. "Think I'm Crazy" was another one that really surprised/impressed me. You can look at his album and just generalize him with every other Southern mainstream rapper out there, but he's got more depth than that. Not saying Chamillionaire's some sort of genius or anything, but he definitely showed talent.

Meh, in my opinion the sound of revenge was stale. In the trunk was really the only song I liked.

I've never heard a song like "Get Over" or "I miss my Dawgs" from Chamill either.

^^^Chamillionaire can actually stay on topic in a song, and lyrically he's better imo.

What dream said. I don't get why people hate on Chamillionaire so much. This guy straight killed the mixtapes and his album is far from bad.
