Yanx up early 2-0 but Volpe's defense again disappoints...though he was not charged with an error he had 2 plays back to back that could have resulted in a DP and on the second one resulted in a run scoring. 2-1, good guys, but Volpe is simply should not be our SS going forward. His defense sux as does his offense and I'm sick of watching him swinging and striking out on pitches well out of the strike zone, especially high pitches. Sit his ass down for 4-5 games and let him know that his current play and approach are unacceptable...let Caballero play in his place.
Great throw from Bellinger...a rocket one hopper to Wells who absolutely destroys Bichette as he tries to score. Sill 2-1, good guys as it starts to rain.
After long rain delay, the good guys hang on and win, 3-1. A win tomorrow could go a long way to retaking the division lead.
