    In themselves.
In their ability to stay afloat in the Western Conference, regardless of whether or not they fully are outfitted with the services of Andrei Kirilenko and Carlos Whoozer.
In flying fairy godmothers, in 9-foot-tall invisible rabbits, in Oompa Loompas, and in skipping and scampering gnomes.
    No, no, honest.
While skeptics and fans alike probably pile all of the above at the same end of the incredibility scale, with the staying afloat in the standings being only slightly less believable than the last four, the Jazz themselves are buying in.
Despite their 6-7 overall record, despite a bad hammy and a twisted ankle afflicting teammates who "earn" a third of a million dollars for each game they miss, leaving their points and rebounds and blocked shots firmly courtside, the players who actually play say they do believe in and conceive, at least in their collective mind's eye, their own success, regardless of who is on duty.
"We have to believe that we can fight through this," says Deron Williams. "We can't accept losing. There are no excuses. We knew there would be some tough times. We just have to keep playing and building on our wins." </div>
