<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Utah Jazz made qualifying offers Wednesday to guards Carlos Arroyo, Gordan Giricek and Maurice Williams and center Jarron Collins, all of whom contributed to the team's surprisingly strong season. Terms were not disclosed. All four players are restricted free agents, and the Jazz will be allowed to match any offer any player receives from another team. After losing long-time superstars Karl Malone to free agency and John Stockton to retirement, the Jazz appeared to be in rebuilding mode. They missed the playoffs for the first time in 21 years but finished 42-40 in the rugged Western Conference. In his first season as a starter, Arroyo, 24, averaged career highs of 12.6 points and 5.0 assists in 71 games, all starts. The native of Puerto Rico entered the 2003-04 season with just two starts in 118 games for three teams. Giricek, 27, was acquired at the trading deadline in a deal that sent guard DeShawn Stevenson to Orlando. He averaged 13.5 points in 25 games after the trade and 11.3 points in 73 games overall.</div> <div align="center">Link</div>
They are all good moves, but I hope they have offered enough. The chances are they wont use all of their salary cap in the offseason, so offering them a little more isn't a bad thing. I'm glad they made an offer to Mo Williams, because he was looking like he would go to Charlotte before KO'C left us scratching our heads with Sasha.
