Utah erased a seven-point halftime deficit and took a four-point lead into the final period but couldn't hold on. Carlos Arroyo added 15 points and nine assists. </div> What can I say about this game? I can blame the refs for calling a foul anytime someone breathed on Larry Hughes. He whined and cried last game about not getting calls and today the refs made up for it at the Jazz expense. The 4th quarter officiating was by far the worst. Kirilenko and Arroyo has the worst of it. They drove hard and got no calls, yet down at the other end, it was a foul if you touched someone with your pinky. I usually don't blame the refs about losses because I for one hate that and I am always bashing the Lakers and Phil Jackson for doing it. However this was the worst officiating I have seen in a long time. The game was handed to the Wizards. That being it said, the Jazz should of won this game with ease. Arenas was out with injury and the Wizards had lost their last 10 out of 12. The Jazz came slow in the 1st quarter and that continued through the 2nd. That is however when the bad officiating came into play. Gotta give props to the Wizards.... I guess.... for their hard play. They drew fouls (whether they be bogus ones or not). Overall, the game stunk. Hard play wasn't rewarded and whining from previous games was. PEACE OUT
This is more than just a loss for Utah, they should've won and they'll be demoralized by that and even worse they will be annoyed at the refs and are probably thinking something like if only the refs were more fair. Now, the team has to pick themselves up for a game against NJ tomorrow, not easy.
