<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LOS ANGELES ? After their game against the Los Angeles Lakers ended late Monday night, the Jazz scattered.
A couple headed for Hawaii. One is going to The Bahamas, another to Miami. Then there is Andrei Kirilenko, who decided he did not have enough time to go home to Russia. Instead, he'll host family in Utah.
Jazz coach Jerry Sloan could have ordered them all to stay in Salt Lake for a couple practices before the NBA All-Star Game break officially gets under way later this week, but ultimately he decided that would only prove counterproductive.
"My experience has been that if I make guys practice they don't have interest in practice. They're thinking about going home," he said. "So, I think to refresh themselves they'll be better off.
"I just challenged them," added Sloan, whose club does not practice again until next Monday night and does not play again until hosting Boston next Tuesday night, "to do some things on their own a little bit, to not just totally dissipate until we play again next week."
Perhaps the biggest beneficiary of the break, Sloan suggested, will be forward Carlos Boozer, who played just his third game Monday after missing nearly a full year with foot and hamstring injuries.

BOOZERS SELL: Much ado was made when Boozer and his wife bought a 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom estate in the Los Angeles area last year.
Word now, however, is that the Boozers have sold their Malibu home and are maintaining their primary residence in Utah.</div>
