<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">His phone is constantly ringing these days, and this is Kevin O'Connor's chance to make a spectacular, job-saving move.
NBA teams are calling about Jazz forward Carlos Boozer. And with one bold decision, O'Connor could overcome a lousy draft history, improve his reputation locally and propel the franchise back into the playoffs.
It's all right there for him. So sometime before Wednesday's draft, O'Connor should . . .
    Do absolutely nothing.
NBA teams should be judged by their core, and the Jazz have four quality players: Andrei Kirilenko, Mehmet Okur, Deron Williams and Boozer. So while wondering why five years of drafting did not provide any significant help, recognizing that O'Connor inherited Kirilenko and questioning the choice of Williams over Chris Paul last June, consider this: The Jazz are positioned for a steady climb, thanks to those four players.
Boozer is the key piece regarding the Jazz's future and any evaluation of O'Connor, the team's senior vice president of basketball operations. How much more favorably would O'Connor be judged right now if Boozer had played more than half of the past two seasons?
Really, it all hinges on Boozer, right here, right now. If he performs well for the Jazz this season (all season), the guy who acquired him will look good. If not, when it comes to his personnel record and a possible contract extension, O'Connor will have to play some serious defense. </div>

That would be a smart move, also go after a SG in the draft, I'm pushing for them to go after Ronnie Brewer or Shannon Brown with the 14th pick. They have a good core as is, they just need to build around it now, they at least must keep Okur, Kirilenko and Williams together.
