Mo Williams and Jarron Collins mildly disagreed with the theory, but I still say the Jazz have been swamped by injuries at the worst possible time:
    The dead of winter.
    Emphasis on "dead."
Halfway through the season, the Jazz suddenly are on life-support, sinking fast in the NBA's Western Conference playoff race as the injury toll mounts and they give back much of their surprising start when they otherwise could have been building on it.

I hate these injuries, Utah were looking at the playoffs before these more recent ones happened. Utah have had at least one injury the whole season, Keon Clark, Curtis Borchardt and Michael Ruffin had been on the IL for ages. Ruff's back but Harp and Ben Handlogten are injured for the season. If Utah don't get to the playoffs, they've got something to blame  . However I'm not ruling them out from the playoffs, but they can't be this injured.
