What do you guys think of him? He plays for Georgtown, and he is a very versatile player, and he is very talented. He can post up alot of people downlow in the block, and he also shoots 43 percent from 3 point range, and his mid range is pretty good as well. Also, from what I have seen, he is a pretty decent defender as well. Not to mention he is a good rebounder, AND he leads the team in assists. I think that he could be a pretty good pro player. What do you guys think?
I think he could be a good player, I'm watching him right now on ESPN. He looks like a pretty good scorer, shows some good vision, pretty good rebounder, I'll be interested to see what kind of player he turns into in the NBA.
I think he compares favorably to a poor-man's Danny Granger. Like Granger he's a big SF that does everything well but nothing great. Georgetown's system isn't favorable to his style of play either, so he could be a nice sleeper pick.
I'm a big fan of Jeff Green. I'm a Georgetown fan and I absolutely love Green and Hibbert together. I compare Green to a more athletic Al Harrington, but maybe that's because I'm too biased. He's a combo forward, can succeed at either position, he can score inside or outside, solid rebounder, very good passer for his position/size, can handle the ball, he's long. BCB's Danny Granger comparison is very solid as well, I didn't even think of that. However, I would by no means say "poor man's" Granger. Green is a guy that can fit in a lot of different systems in the NBA. He can play up-tempo or in a halfcourt game. Whoever picks him will be happy with him.

This guy is going to be a very good player in the NBA. What really stands out to me is how versatile and unique his game is. There is no accurate comparison between him and an NBA player. Kevin Garnett is close but Jeff Green is a better outside shooter and shot-blocker than Garnett. Plus Garnett has a good 3 inches on the dude. The closest comparrison is to Kevin Durant, but Jeff Green is a better passer and shot-blocker than Durant. Jeff Green is definetley a once in a decade type of talent.
Before the Ball St. vs Georgetown game, me and me friends yelled out "Jeff Green!" and he waved at us. :dribble:
Wow, this kid had a great game agaisnt Villanova. Not only did he do well scoring the ball, but he had a career high 9 blocks. When you have a guy like Roy Hibbert on your team, I want to know how you can accumulate that many blocked shots. For his size, that is very impressive.

We don't even know if he's coming out though, same with my man Roy Hibbert.

He may be a better shooter, but Garnett makes a lot of shots in games that are borderline college three pointers. You're giving the kid way too much credit. He'll be a solid player, but not a "once in a decade" guy. He's no Lebron, he's no Garnett, but he'll be good.
