"I speak to Richard constantly, mainly about his minutes and there are absolutely no issues," Frank said the day after Jefferson spoke up after a 90-80 defeat in Indiana. "We are on the same page. Richard told me that 'If I said it like that, I apologize.' We spoke about it. It's no big deal. It's a total non-issue." </div>

congrats to rj. his improvement is being recognized among nba big shots. you can see that he is going to be a superstar in this league one day. the media likes him b/c he has a great personality and likes to have fun when he talks to the press and he is a great talent. if lebron went instead i think it would have totally been a PR move. he is a great talent, but i think it would be too much too soon for 19yr old kid/man if you want to call him that. im suprised that he is replacing vince carter. is there something wrong with vince physically that he already said he will not play? or is it that they rather not have vince b/c that would be 1less ego/star that would not get minutes and they know that rj doesnt have that ego and he wont complain about minutes and will know his role. now the question is whether kidd will play b/c of his injuries and if kmart will be on the team. i dont know if malone is going back b/c the reason kmart got on the team was b/c malone's mother died. so it should be interesting what other nets, if any, will join rj and team usa. gj rich!

I thought RJ was already a member of Team USA as a "roleplayer".

He was playing for the USA team in the summer to qualify for the championships at the Olympics. RJ didn't have a secure spot on the USA roster for Olympics until he got the invitation to play. So, some players might play in qualifying tournament but not in the Olympics.

    Anyway, congratulations to Richard.

That's right. He also made it clear that he'll be more than delighted to represent the country. It's very well deserved if I say so myself. He can certainly help Team USA not only in terms of bringing back the excitement.
