<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Richard Jefferson believes he and Michael Redd will complement each other in a reshaped Milwaukee Bucks lineup this fall.

The Bucks’ small forward, acquired in a major draft-day deal with the New Jersey Nets, made his first public comments since the June 26 trade when he was introduced at a Monday news conference at the Bradley Center.

“I think he’s a great shooter that has the ability to get to the cup,” Jefferson said of Redd, the Bucks’ Olympian and shooting guard. “I am a person that gets to the cup that has the ability to shoot.

“We both get to the free-throw line a lot. It’s kind of funny. Most nights, we’ll both have nine or 10 at the free-throw line.”

Jefferson, who ranked ninth in the National Basketball Association in scoring last season, and Redd, who ranked eighth, are expected to form a potent duo.

“There will be a lot of eyes on us to see how well we gel,” Jefferson said. “This was a major move. Me and Vince (Carter) were very similar, but me and Mike might complement each other even more.

“He’s much more outside; he’s one of the best shooters I’ve ever seen. Me, I’m more of a slasher.

“But, we both do the other things well. With that, I think we have a chance to have a very good team, especially in this conference.”

The Bucks are counting on Jefferson’s all-around play to steady the Bucks’ front-court rotation. After feeling strong disappointment about being traded by the Nets, Jefferson said he had come to terms with his new situation.</div>

Well its safe to say before the seasons he knows there is only one ball on the court at a time, lets just hold that this "working together" attitude holds up throughout the season. Any time you have two scores on your team in the Top 20, let alone Top 10, you have the ability to do something special during the season and it appears as if RJ knows that.
