<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Richard Jefferson, traded to Milwaukee for promising 7-footer Yi Jianlian and veteran Bobby Simmons, responded via text message to Nets team president Rod Thorn.

"He didn't seem very happy," said Thorn, who emphasized yesterday he had not yet spoken to Jefferson. "I spoke to his agent, I called him, texted him. I like Richard. He was here for a long time and I'm sure he still expected to be here. Unless you are the one pushing for it, it's always difficult when you are traded. You are going to a new place, have new teammates. It's hard at first."</div>

Well....I guess we traded an unhappy Yi and made an unhappy RJ.........Milwaukee just has that effect on players I suppose. Hopefully it is just a case of feeling poorly from New Jersey and not a case of a player hating Milwaukee.

My biggest question with RJ is regarding his attitude. He is going to have to change in order to play for Skiles

Aye, noone ever likes playing for Skiles.
But Skiles is probably the best bet to get RJ to be the defensive player he was 2 years ago.

^And you can really see that the toughness that RJ can bring on the defensive end if he applies himself is what the Bucks are looking for. This explains the Luc Richard Mbah A Moute (I wonder how close I got) second round pick. Hammonds is trying to change the cupcake Bucks into a team that will bang around, play some D, grab some boards, and intimidate other teams.
