Jefferson Not Out of the Woods Yet

Al Jefferson suffered from Achilles tendinitis near the end of the preseason and is coming back from February knee surgery, but neither ailment has kept him out of any regular-season action, as he's averaged 28 minutes a game in Minnesota's three games so far.

But with the Timberwolves playing the latter half of back-to-back games this evening, expect Jefferson's minutes to decrease.

"I feel good," Jefferson told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I probably won't play as many minutes [tonight]. I can't wait until that part of the game is over with, limiting my minutes. I'm ready to get back to where I was."
