"I'm getting anxious," said Jeffries, who signed a five-year, $30 million contract over the summer.

Isiah Thomas said yesterday that the forward will be used as a backup for the time being.

Stephon Marbury, who sat the final 19 minutes of Saturday's win over Milwaukee after suffering a bruised left forearm, is expected to play.</div>

How much more longer until Channing Frye comes back? Also, does it look like this will reduce Balkman's minutes with his return or will Balkman just move down to the 2 spot?

^Probably reduce his minutes. Jeffries and Balkman are virtually the same, except Jeffries is 3 inches taller. Still, it could be hectic combination for the opposition having to deal with two hustle players on the floor at the same time. Looking forward to see him. I was impressed with his one game in preseason. He should be able to bolster our defense a bit.
