Saw it and it was good. He really preached defense and that he knows it's Chris's team. He said he wants to come in a take charges, block and alter shots. He seems very focused and he said the knee was fine. He can't wait to get started and he wants to go all the way. Love it.
I'm loving that talk about doing the dirty work on D and on the boards. That's what we need from him more than anything else.
It sounds like all JO wants to do is block and alter shots, take charges and change the defense to work around him. He said nothing about taking over and forcing anything. He knows his role and he is going to be great on defense. Also, SMitch said that when Bosh and JO are on the floor, they are the 1-2 option all the time. They're going to be hard to stop.
