<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Defense wasn't the only problem the Pacers had in the fourth quarter Saturday. O'Neal, the Pacers' primary scoring threat, was not involved in the offense in the final 12 minutes.
O'Neal went into the fourth quarter with 25 points on 16 shot attempts, nine rebounds and four blocked shots.
By the end, O'Neal had just two more points and one more shot attempt. "A lot of times, they started doubling down on me with Felton so it forced me to kick the ball out," O'Neal said. "We had good shots, but we didn't knock them down."
O'Neal was in a similar situation in the Dec. 23 game against Minnesota. He only attempted four shots in the second half, during which the Pacers scored just 21 points in a loss to the Timberwolves.
O'Neal said he isn't about to start demanding the ball, but feels he should get more touches if the team is struggling to score.
"It's kind of a double-edged sword," he said. "You want everybody else to get their rhythm, but you want the ball, too, late in games. We just have to keep trying to figure out ways to incorporate different plays to get me open."</div>
