Good little tid bit, talks about the SHaq/Kobe split up. Gotta love Jerry, always nice to hear what he has to say about things. Thoughts?

Mitch Cupckae <div class="quote_poster">YourNewChef Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Thanks Jerry, why don't you come back and show Mitch how to be a decent GM.</div> Seriously Mitch Cupcake could learn a lot from you
That would great if we could get Jerry in here instead of Mitch, but i heard somewhere that jerry and pjax didnt get along or something along those lines

Look at Kobe and Phil, they are getting along great now

PJax and West just had different ideas on how the team should be built and direction the franchise should take. I don't think they had any personal issues, but when two stubborn people get together it's hard to find common ground.
hmmm Lakers the most talented team. Overly talented players: Kobe, Odom, Bynum, maybe Radmonovic Rockets: Tmac, Battier, Yao, Bonzi, maybe Rafer Miami: Wade, Walker, Haslem, Shaq, Williams, Mourning, maybe Posey Actually I'm thinking that Dallas has to be the most talented team, they always are: (I thought they were more talented, not as much as past years though in star depth) Dirk, Josh Howard, Jason Terry, Stackhouse, Devin Harris, Diop/Dampier, and Michael Finley's contract Its hard to determine who has the most talent. Even New York could be near top of the list.
I totally agree I dont think the Lakers are up player wise but defintly their coaching staff is taleneted

i quote from a book titled The Show <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">On the final weekend of the 1999 season, as the Lakers were about to be swept by the Spurs, West was sitting in the nearly empty Great Western Forum when this book's author mentioned Jackson. ***** Phil Jackson," West said. Thinking that he had been misunderstood, this writer again mentioned Jackson. "***** Phil Jackson," West repeated, emphasizing the words and his disdain</div> That's how Jerry West feels about Phil. Unless Jerry West has a change of heart, them two coexisting is as possible as the Clippers replacing the Lakers in LA.
