<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Jets | Team expected to sign a free agent offensive linemanMon, 10 Apr 2006 22:03:14 -0700Dave Hutchinson, of the Star-Ledger, reports the New York Jets are expected to sign a veteran free agent offensive lineman. They've had free agent OC Trey Teague (Bills) and free agent OTs Anthony Clement (49ers) and Mike Pearson (Jaguars) in for visits.</div>Personally I'm kinda hoping that we sign Pearson and Teague. That way we can draft D'Brickashaw and have our line filled in for the year. Though I'd still like us to draft Mangold in the late first/early 2nd, just for the future. Like Seattle did last year with Spencer.

I know you're low on Adrian Jones, but the guy has at least proven hes capable of starting man...no need for both Pearson and Ferguson. Id rather have one of the 2 and a veteran and a mid round pick for depth.

He can be a backup to Pearson just in case Pearson gets injured.
