i'll be the first one to say it... it was pathetic I was pretty humiliated watching it. Infact I had to turn off the TV i didnt watch the whole thing so i cant give a good assessment on it. But Pennington played like shit and therefore the Jets played like shit. Jags are a much better team as they showed and i'm questioning how good the Colts are now. Jets are a .500 team at best they showed it, maybe next year they'll start workin toward the playoffs. :surrender:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (J-E-T-S 1083)</div><div class='quotemain'>its true but close game vs the Jets and the Titans make me question their superiority of the NFL</div> True, I think they are gonna have a lot more close games this year and it will be beneficial to the team to have these close games instead of cruising into the playoffs, unscathed and not knowing how to win close games...They need Edge to blow people out but Edge needs them as well. They complimented achother extremely well!
i thought Jets were a playoff team until this happened. what a disaster. dont worry, Eagles lost 42-0 last year on National TV

Chad Pennington is the Jets football team IMO. When he doesn't play well the Jets stink up the place. They aren't ready to be a playoff team yet but they will continue to win some ball games when Pennington is on his game. What an embarrassment against the Jaguars though. I feel sorry for ya JETS.

This just goes to show you how teams match up so differently and that anything can happen. The Colts beat the Jags 21-14 and the Jets 31-28 so one would think the game between the Jets and Jags would be a good one. 41-0 was the outcome. The Pats beat the Bengals 38-13 and the Dolphins lost to the Texans, last season's worst team, 17-15 so one would think the Pats would really work the Dolphins over. The Pats pulled away from a 3 point lead in the 4th quarter to win 20-10. That was hardly a blow out. These reasons are why I think the Bears aren't going undefeated. For all we know Miami could stomp the snot out of them.
If Jacksonville could get the Colts monkey off their back, they could go all the way. They are solid on both sides of the ball. They could be a dark horse candidate for the Superbowl this year if someone knocks off the Colts for them.
all the Jags need is consistancy if they can do that they could beat the Colts and get real far in the playoffs
